THE 2021 CHAMPIONS OF SUSTAINABLE EATING IN THE UAE

Six Dubai based chefs and business leaders will receive the “Sustainable UAE Eating” Awards on November 7, 2021 at Gulf Food Manufacturing.

Reduce impact on nature, cut waste in the kitchen, design the new luxury. These are the keywords of “Sustainable UAE Eating”, a campaign involving Dubai’s based chefs and food professionals, no matter where they come from.

The campaign aims also at rewarding the champions of Sustainability among them, as examples to follow not only for the food industry but for the whole community, particularly during Expo 2020 and in the occasion of the UAE Golden Jubilee.

The winners of the Sustainable UAE Eating 2021 Awards are:

SEBASTIAN NOHSE, on behalf of the 17 Hilton Hotel chefs involved in “Growth Of The UAE” (UAE’s First 100% Local Menu)
MATTHIJS STINNISSEN, Boca Restaurant
RAYMOND WONG, Atlantis’ Seafire Steakhouse

Behind each of them there is a story of a passionate commitment to reduce food and resources waste in the kitchen, to use sustainable suppliers and to work for the food security of their community.
The Sustainable UAE Eating Campaign and Awards are presented in the occasion of Gulf Food Manufacturing, Speciality Food and Yummex ME. They are organized in collaboration with the Emirates Culinary Guild and coincide also with the 12th Italian (Sustainable) Cuisine World Summit (6-11 November 2021)
